Audio Quality in Beta Version
Hi! I downloaded the beta from the nvidia website yesterday. First of all, let me say 'omg', the encoding speed is fantastic. However what let me down was the audio quality. No matter what setting I put it on '320kbit', 'Auto/Stereo Downmix', each time the output was very 'tinny' and generally sounded very low quality... which was a pity considering the quality of the picture. Can I attribute this to the beta? Also do you have plans to include an option to just attach the AC3 stream from a dvd to the video, instead of downmixing it to stereo? Also, do you think you'll be including a bit rate calculator in the full version, as I would find this very useful when converting all my TV show DVD's for nearline storage, and would like to keep all the file sizes around the same. Thanks! Luke
