I'm testing Badaboom for the purpose to convert TV-series on DVD to my iPod. The iPod I have is an iPod Video, which Nero Recode has been very good at recoding for.
Now, Badaboom works very well, but no matter what profile I choose, iTunes refuses to sync the created video to my iPod.
Anyone have any idea on what's wrong? I've tried the Classic, Nano iTouch and iPhone profiles, and all fail to sync.

Probably solved the "problem".
OK, so I bought an iPod Touch anyway, and of course a copy of Badaboom 1.1.1. Recoded some TV series and added them to iTunes. Imagine my surprise when they by mistake was synched to my old iPod Video without problems!
The probable solution: Lower the bitrate to about 800 kbit/s. It would be nice if someone else could try and verify the behaviour.
lowered it to 800kbit/s and
lowered it to 800kbit/s and it still doesnt work.

Same problem with my iPod Classic
I have the same problem with iTunes not syncing my converted files to my iPod Classic 80 gig. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong, or if this will be fixed in an update soon. I bought this program mainly to convert my TV shows on DVD to iPod. If I could just get my converted files onto my iPod, then badaboom would be the best program by far that I have used. I have several friends waiting to see if I can get this problem resolved before they are willing to buy it. Any help would be appreciated.
Re: Problem with iPod output
Badaboom does not currently support the older version of the iPod Video (ie the 30 gb iPod). At this time, it only supports the newer Video (ie 80 gb).

I have an 80 gig ipod and I'm having the same problem. i purchased this today strictly to use with ipod and it doesn't work.
Now, I could be stupid and
Now, I could be stupid and say: I don't have a 30 GB, I have a 60 GB, but I won't...
Any technical reason for this limitation? I would gladly buy your software as long as I didn't have to buy a new iPod.
It would be so awesome if it
It would be so awesome if it supported the 30gb version!
Its the same resolution, whats so different about it?
I got the same problem too.
I got the same problem too. So is there a solution??? Is it possible for me to use Badaboom or shall i use another program for converting my videos? I would like to use Badaboom because its a really really great program and would fit my needs very well. Ok, only if its possible to convert for Ipod video/Ipod 5.5th generation, but that shouldn't be a great deal I think.
Hope we get an answer soon.
I had same problem
I lowered it to 750kbit/s and it seems to work I tried it and 800 and no go so I've just left it at 750 and its really good quality, I admit I've got an 80gb but I don't think that should make a difference as the firmware and hardware should be similar for the other ipod video's
