Why doesn't Badaboom support basic formats?

Isn't it possible to integrate FFMPeg or another free multi codec system such as LibAVCodec?

I thought the whole point of Video for Windows (VFW) was to ensure any application that supports it will support the range of codecs supported on the system.

This is a major minuspoint against purchasing the software for me since I have to decode everything to Uncompressed or DivX Quant1 Iframe which sucks.

Support DV format please!

I have a couple of terabytes of DV footage that I want to compress and have never gotten around to doing because I don't want to tie up my computer for weeks on end.

Please support this format.

VFW uses DV video format,

VFW uses DV video codec, which is currently not supported, but on the list for future updates.
