What type of Licence do we have for badaboom?

Unheard of and unread anywhere if this is one time buy or we have to pay up again and again for major upgrades?

Hi!  The Badaboom license may be found in your Badaboom directory installed on your computer.  Badaboom is for personal use only and includes free upgrades until version 2.0 is released.

Are we to expect to get

Are we to expect to get Surround (DTS or DD) encoding before we're asked for more money?

At this point I don't even use the application due to the audio limitations, I don't have the need to encode for iPODs, So I paid for something and instead use x264 for my encoding.
